Makes me think about my daughter talking about her mother in law, she is never happy with the presents we buy for her, she said.

Then she said, i told her my mom,me,never complains and is always pleased whatever i give her, yes we should always be grateful for a gift however small.

I think we are afraid of our own powers at times, i have been accused of holding back and i think its a kind of fear of giving my all.

When i sang with bands in my youth i was told to stop holding back,not sure what it was i was afraid of though. What you say is interesting.

God is so amazing that He knows what we really need in our life. We treasured earthly things we thought very much of value that we forget the most valuable ones offered by God for us in lieu of those we treasure most. GOD IS GOOD and GOD BLESS.

I also came to think about it when I was still young. History reveals that the early Filipinos used to believe in "anitos" as their Gods.
As faith would have it, we the present Filipinos have been baptized Christians mostly Catholics. We were raised by our parents as Christian God-fearing children.
In fact, it's the faith in our God that keeps us alive and hopeful despite of the present economic difficulties and political unrest we are now experiencing in our country.

What religion would Filipinos have if Spain didn't bring Catholicism in the Philippines?
Is there really one true religion?
What happens to billion Chinese and others of different faith if the Vatican profess that if you are not baptized Catholic you will never enter the kingdom of heaven?
Just curious?
